Buffalo Wild Wings is hiring for Associate General Manager

The Associate General Manager works alongside the General Manager to oversee the restaurant's operations, providing guidance, supervision, and training to Team Members and management to ensure efficient shift management and customer satisfaction.

Essential Functions and Job Requirements

Team Responsibilities:

  • Conducts subsequent interview rounds and arranges orientation meetings for new team members.
  • Organizes and administers orientations for new team members, ensuring all associated paperwork is completed.
  • Inputs newly hired team members into the Aloha and CTUIT systems.
  • Ensures all team members complete the necessary steps for onboarding.
  • Formulates training plans for fresh recruits and presents them during orientation.
  • The training schedule is designed by qualified Wing Certified Trainers (WCTs) only.
  • Ensures the completion and filing of all training paperwork within six days.
  • Provides daily updates on training protocols and monitors the thoroughness of documentation submissions.
  • Facilitates after-shift training day gatherings involving WCT personnel and trainees.
  • Unless an extension is needed, the completion of position validation forms is expected by day six.
  • The task of conducting position validations is reserved for the Training Manager or General Manager exclusively.
  • Forms and upkeeps Wing Certified Trainers (WCTs) to manage the training of staff in each department of the restaurant.
  • Upholds the requirement of maintaining two operational wireless communication tablets in every section of the restaurant.
  • Ensures that the paperwork for WCT assessment is current and securely stored in the office binder.
  • Ensures regular monthly WCT sessions are conducted.
  • Offers WCT assessments biannually.
  • Controls the launch of updated menu options.
  • Offers ServSafe instruction to all WCTs as part of their training.

Front of House (FOH) Support Responsibilities:

  • Ensures that tipped staff members follow the designated operating protocols as outlined by the company.
  • Supervises the opening and closing responsibilities of tipped workers.
  • If servers or bartenders spend more than 10 minutes per hour on tasks outside their usual tipped duties, they are expected to switch their payment status to the Front of House Support minimum wage rate and clock out of their tipped earnings.

Guest Responsibilities:

  • Supervises complaints from visitors and monitors Hot Alerts.
  • Manages guest complaints within two days and submits Guest Comment forms to the Regional Manager (RM) for evaluation.
  • Demonstrates the ability to engage with guests effectively to ensure their happiness.

Quality Operations:

  • Performs a complete Quality, Service, and Cleanliness (QSC) review on a quarterly basis.
  • Responsible for managing non-McLane purchases.
  • Guarantees conformity to superior operational practices.

Sales and Profits:

  • Enters all billing details in CTUIT, a task that is largely automated for efficiency.
  • Oversees and administers accounts payable processes specific to CTUIT.
  • Executes operational methodologies aimed at driving sales and expanding profits.

Communication:

  • Keeps up effective communication within the team and with higher-ups.

Direct Responsibilities:

  • Maintains a consistent level of perfection in implementing the training process.
  • Educates and equips trainers with the necessary skills for certification in wing development.

Physical Demands:
