What you'll bring to the table:

• While prior experience isn't mandatory, it's a plus if you have background in cooking, food handling, basic math, adhering to safety standards, and working in a fast-food or restaurant setting.
• Must be at least sixteen (16) years of age.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule that includes evenings, weekends, and holidays to meet the demands of the restaurant.
• Physical stamina to lift, carry, stack, push, or pull heavier items, stand and walk for extended periods, and move comfortably within the kitchen space while safely operating cooking equipment.

Restaurant Cook compensation is determined by your skills and experience. The specific pay will vary based on your qualifications, experience level, the restaurant's location, and other legally permissible factors, all of which will be discussed with you during the hiring process.

The typical starting pay ranges for new Restaurant Cook hires in different states and cities are as follows:

• Salary range: $8.00 to $18.00 per hour for all other geographic areas not listed below
• State of Maryland: $15.00 to $16.00 per hour
• State of New York: $15.00 to $16.00 per hour
• New York City: $16.00 to $17.00 per hour
• Cincinnati, OH: $10.45 to $15.00 per hour
• Toledo, OH: $11.00 to $14.00 per hour
