Key Responsibilities of the CDL A Yard Spotter:

• Efficiently and safely maneuver trailers within the yard, ensuring the proper placement for loading and unloading.
• Coordinate trailer movements to maintain a streamlined flow of goods and minimize delays.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of equipment, reporting any maintenance needs promptly.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch, drivers, and other yard personnel to ensure seamless operations.
• Adhere strictly to all safety regulations and company procedures while operating equipment.
• Assist with organizing and maintaining the yard to ensure a safe and efficient working environment.
• Accurately document trailer movements and yard inventory as required.

Requirements:

• Possession of a valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL-A).
• Demonstrated ability to safely and efficiently operate yard spotting trucks or similar equipment.

• Ability to follow instructions and work independently with attention to detail.
