Early Morning Stock Associate

We are currently seeking enthusiastic and reliable individuals to join us as Early Morning Stock Associates. In this crucial role, you will be responsible for ensuring our stores are well-stocked and organized before opening hours, setting the stage for a successful day of sales. This position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in the early morning hours to prepare the store for our customers.

Responsibilities:

• Unload and unpack new merchandise shipments efficiently and accurately.
• Sort and organize merchandise in the stockroom according to company guidelines.
• Stock and replenish sales floor displays with new arrivals and backstock items.
• Ensure merchandise is presented neatly and according to visual merchandising standards.
• Assist in maintaining a clean, organized, and safe stockroom environment.
• Identify and communicate any discrepancies or damages in shipments to the appropriate personnel.
• Assist with inventory counts and other stock-related tasks as needed.
• Operate equipment such as hand trucks and pallet jacks safely (training provided).
• Collaborate effectively with other team members to ensure efficient store operations.
• Follow all company policies and procedures.

Requirements:

• Ability to work independently and efficiently in the early morning hours (specific start times may vary).
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling merchandise.
• Ability to lift and carry merchandise up to a certain weight (e.g., 25-50 lbs) on a regular basis.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods.
• Good organizational skills and the ability to follow instructions.
• Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
• Basic reading and communication skills.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Prior experience in stockroom or warehouse environments is a plus, but not required.
